This is an email I got from Bruce today. Thought I'd share it with you, because...it's about the heart of JOHN, which is, the salvation of souls.

JOHN is different, brother - different in it's goal and that makes it different in every way; down to the writing, casting, shooting style... as long as we keep that goal of souls before us and as long as we stay on our faces before Him we can't go wrong. Seeking, obedience no matter what it looks like to human or "film expert" eyes. Yes, that's the key. Even now as I work with this new script consultant there is the constant pull in her notes to "make it a movie," if you know what I mean. Her notes are good and they're right - if we're making a movie. But we're not making a movie - we're bringing the gospel to film. The thing that has to happen is not drama or a good story... but understanding Jesus, Salvation, the kingdom of God. I tell you, as I meet with Christian media and industry folks, I am learning that this is a very difficult thing for them to wrap their minds around. But the "everyday believers" get it - and that's the "test" we're looking to pass. GLORY TO THE NAME OF JESUS!Spent loads of time in prayer for the funding this morning. Brother, we just plain need miracles - big miracles. What we need is for awareness to spread through the Body and for folks to be obedient when God whispers to them to give. A dollar here and five dollars there.... spread over the vast expanse of the Body, it's nothing. And that's the miracle God laid before me for the foundation of JOHN. It's a "Body" thing. Not a movie thing or "names of Christianity" thing. It's all of us coming together across nations and denominations, laying our tiny offerings before the Lord, and watching His "tabernacle" (Exodus 53, 36) be built... by His children, through their simple, humble, precious giving. Hey, God's eye is on those "give-ers." They put a smile on His face big time. Glory to Jesus!So... I'll check in with you later. Let's hit IHOP later this week. (Yes, IHOP is the other key! hee hee!). Let me know when it's a good day.

Hi Kris in wa - you have said it all. Give, give and more giving required. Give of ourselves, give of our time, give of our substance - what an example of giving was Jesus - in every area - He held nothing back. I endorse everything that you have encouraged His children to do. Bless you Kris. I am going onto the website and will also be giving my small amount to this project and will pray that the Lord will multiply it. I encourage each and everyone who reads this to do the same. We just thank you, Lord, for giving us so much..talents, finances, homes, families, Jesus, heaven.. we ask for many others to come alongside who genuinely have a desire to spread your Word, to touch others with Your revealed Presence, just to be used with no ambition for self..
We humbly request that there will be total unity in all that's done.. that this project will drip and ooze with the eternal Glory & Majesty of your Son.. thanking You dear Lord, for the joy of using what we've been given to bless and to impact others.. we ask that the enemy's plans be thwarted in every aspect..and that intercessors will rise up as watchmen... For Your Glory!!!

Hi. I haven't had a chance to read and digest all the comments. I was just wondering if I ever get to LA, I'd love to go to IHOP with ya, Bruce! Amazing how much of God's ministry happens in restaurants. Ain't He a great God!! ps Couldn't remember my password, so I submit this as anonymous. (Trish)
Right away, I'm thinking: "Why can't Warren Buffett send a couple billion Bruce's way?" But no! We don't need that! Our God owns the cattle on the 1,000 hills! (Psalms 50:10) "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it!" (Psalms 24:1)

Imagine how amazed i was !
Last week,i had just finished listening to Bruce on the radio,his first of 5 broadcasts,and although i have begun production of a promo sheet/flyer thingo,to be put in church notices,and everywhere else.....announcing JOHN...and i did get a great deal from the interview...i suddenly felt like i would burst!
It was a sensation of being pushed right to the edge...the absolute edge..i could go no further,and so i had no choice but to DIVE OFF,and land in the loving arms of Our Lord...
Man!!emotionally explosive...i sat quietly,then just had to sing to the Lord....and what He gave me was such an Annointed song...
which has since blessed others in their places of need!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is THE HOLY SPIRIT..the HOLY THREAD that ties us all together,uniting us and prompting us to be fully operational ,willing parts of the Body,allowing Holy Oil to keep us smooth in the endeavours we embark upon.........
Praise God for enthusiastic hearts that yearn for this amazing project to reach fruition...
